Ce sont : B\u00e9nin, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Centrafrique, Comores, Congo, C\u00f4te d&rsquo;ivoire, Gabon, Guin\u00e9e, Guin\u00e9e-Bissau, Guin\u00e9e-Equatoriale, Mali, Mauritanie, Niger, S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, Tchad et Togo.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Accord de Bangui et ses Annexes constituent le trait\u00e9 fondateur de l\u2019OAPI. Ils constituent \u00e9galement le code de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle de chacun des Etats membres de l\u2019OAPI.<\/p>\n<p>OAPI's head office is in Yaound\u00e9, 153 Place de la Pr\u00e9fecture, Yaound\u00e9 - Republic of Cameroon.<\/p>\n<p>OAPI's mission is to ensure uniform and effective protection of industrial property rights on the territory of its member states, to contribute to the promotion of literary and artistic property, to ensure the provision of documentation and the dissemination of information, to provide training in intellectual property, and to participate in the economic development of member statesOAPI's mission is to ensure uniform and effective protection of industrial property rights on the territory of its member states, to contribute to the promotion of literary and artistic property, to ensure the provision of documentation and the dissemination of information, to provide training in intellectual property, and to participate in the economic development of member states<\/p>\n<p>OAPI consists of three main units: <strong>the Board of Directors<\/strong> the Board of Directors (supreme and guiding body), <strong>the High Commission of Appeal the High Commission of Appeal<\/strong>\u00a0(jurisdictional organ) and <strong>the General Management<\/strong> (executive organ).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>L\u2019OAPI et les IG<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L\u2019OAPI constitue l\u2019office commun de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle pour ses 17 pays membres.<\/p>\n<p>Selon l\u2019annexe VI de son trait\u00e9 fondateur, l\u2019Accord de Bangui, l\u2019OAPI enregistre les \u00ab\u00a0indications g\u00e9ographiques\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0des indications qui servent \u00e0 identifier un produit comme \u00e9tant originaire d\u2019un territoire, ou d\u2019une r\u00e9gion, ou localit\u00e9 de ce territoire, dans les cas o\u00f9 une qualit\u00e9, r\u00e9putation ou autre caract\u00e9ristique d\u00e9termin\u00e9e du produit peut \u00eatre attribu\u00e9e essentiellement \u00e0 cette origine g\u00e9ographique\u00a0\u00bb. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Une des missions principales de l\u2019OAPI est d\u2019assurer la promotion des indications g\u00e9ographiques en faveur de ses Etats membres. En effet, la reconnaissance officielle des Indications G\u00e9ographiques est un enjeu important pour l\u2019Afrique, en tant qu\u2019outils de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et pour la reconnaissance du patrimoine et des savoir-faire traditionnels. L\u2019indication g\u00e9ographique prot\u00e9g\u00e9e peut permettre \u00e0 des produits originaux d\u2019affirmer leur identit\u00e9, de structurer une organisation \u00e9conomique et de d\u00e9velopper leur valeur ajout\u00e9e. Cet int\u00e9r\u00eat a \u00e9t\u00e9 affirm\u00e9 lors des D\u00e9clarations minist\u00e9rielles des Etats membres de l\u2019OAPI en 2005 (D\u00e9claration de Ouagadougou sur les indications g\u00e9ographiques et les obtentions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales) et en 2022 (D\u00e9claration sur la promotion du syst\u00e8me des indications g\u00e9ographiques), et a permis la mise en place de plusieurs projets \u00e0 vocation r\u00e9gional. Il s\u2019agit entre autres de :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Projet d\u2019appuis \u00e0 la Mise en place des Indications G\u00e9ographiques dans les Etats membres de l\u2019OAPI (PAMPIG), avec le soutien financier de l\u2019AFD et le soutien technique du CIRAD<\/li>\n<li>Projet d\u2019Accompagnement des Etats membres \u00e0 la Promotion des indications g\u00e9ographiques et des marques collectives (Projet 2IG\/MC), sur fonds propres de l\u2019OAPI<\/li>\n<li>Projet de Droits de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle et Innovation en Afrique (AFRIPI), avec le soutien de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne<\/li>\n<li>Facilit\u00e9 pour le D\u00e9veloppement des Indications G\u00e9ographiques dans les pays d\u2019Afrique, Cara\u00efbes et Pacifique (Facilit\u00e9 IG), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l\u2019AFD et le CIRAD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A propos de l\u2019OAPI L\u2019OAPI est une organisation r\u00e9gionale sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le domaine de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle en Afrique.
